Use one approval reference before production
Review the sample against the same artwork revision and project brief used for the quotation. A short approval record keeps the next decision clear for both teams.
- Submit the current file: artwork, sketch, or reference with a project name and revision date.
- Confirm the specification: intended use, target size, colour areas, visible features, components, and packaging direction.
- Review the sample: compare shape, colour placement, surface appearance, molded detail, component positions, and presentation.
- Record changes: place every requested revision in one marked file or approval note.
- Approve the reference: identify the sample or drawing that represents the agreed version before larger production decisions.

Plan material, color and finish before a sample
Color references, visible details, surface feel, and the way different areas meet are decisions to make before production. When Pantone references are available, they provide a clearer color-planning starting point. A physical sample remains the right stage to review appearance, because screen color is not the finished material.
For projects with layered color areas or small molded features, careful material preparation and controlled placement help make the approved design repeatable.
